Diari Pop: UNITED NATION OF SOUNDS – Are You Ready?

Avui toca la novíssima cançó que Richard Aschroft ha fet amb la seva nova banda UNITED NATION OF SOUNDS. La cançó està bé, a l’estil que Richard Aschroft ens té acostumats, i si l’escoltes 3 o 4 vegades s’enganxa força, però ni de bon tros és de les millors que ha fet. Considero molt millors unes quantes cançons de la seva primera època amb The Verve quan l’any 1997 va treure l’històric Urban Hymns (Bittersweet Symphony, The Drugs Don’t Work, Sonnet, Lucky Man), alguna de la segona època amb The Verve (Love Is Noise), i inclús també és millor A Song For The Lovers, una cançó que va treure al seu disc en solitari Alone With Everybody, que va passar amb més pena que glòria.

Sempre és bonic conèixer noves cançons de músics consagrats. A veure si amb aquest nou disc, Richard Aschroft ens sorprèn i torna a fer una obra mestra 13 anys després De moment només tenim aquesta. El 29 de març sortirà el disc sencer i sembla que portarà el títol de Redemption. Esteu preparats? ARE YOU READY?
